The All Mountain Snowboard Tune is specifically designed to meet the demands of snowboarders who want consistent control, smooth glide, and optimal performance across varied terrain. Because snowboards have larger bases and wider edge profiles than skis, they require additional time and precision. This tune ensures your board is fast, grippy, and responsive no matter the conditions.
What’s Included:
At Alpine Base & Edge, we take a snowboard-specific approach to tuning, recognizing that boards require a different touch than skis.
Why is a snowboard tune more expensive than a ski tune?
Snowboards have more surface area and require additional time for base grinding, edge tuning, and waxing. It’s also a more labor-intensive process.
How often should I tune my snowboard?
Depending on how often you ride, a full tune every 3–5 days on snow keeps your board in top shape. Waxing every 1–2 days helps maintain speed.
Can you detune tips and tails?
Yes, just let us know your preferences or if you're heading into the park. We’ll tailor the edge work for your style.
Is this tune good for park riding?
Absolutely. We can modify edge bevels, detune contact points, and set up your base to match freestyle demands.
What kind of wax do you use?
We use high-end, all-temperature wax unless you request a specific wax for colder or warmer conditions. Let us know where you’re riding.
