Alpine Base & Edge — Seasonal Lease Terms & Conditions

Alpine Base & Edge — Seasonal Lease Terms & Conditions

At Alpine Base & Edge, we want every skier and rider to enjoy gear that’s safe, sharp, and ready to perform. Proper maintenance is the difference between average days and great ones, and it’s built into how we manage our lease program.

Mandatory Equipment Checks

Every Seasonal Lease requires a mid-season equipment check. If you’re not on a seasonal tuning plan, you must return your gear every 60–90 days for a complimentary inspection and minor tune. This keeps equipment safe and dialed for the season.

  • If major damage is found, repair costs will be collected before equipment is reissued.
  • Mandatory checks are non-negotiable and will be charged to the card on file if missed.

Lease End Date — April 30th

All Seasonal Leases end April 30th. No exceptions. Gear must be returned by this date.

Customers who want to keep equipment past April 30th must either:

  • Pay for a spring/summer extension up front at pickup.
  • Transition into a Summer Rental, which begins May 1st and is billed separately.

This clear cutoff allows us to tune, service, and prep gear for spring and summer leases.

Care & Responsibility

All equipment remains the property of Alpine Base & Edge. Customers are expected to treat it responsibly.

  • Neglectful use or mistreatment (broken/bent skis, excessive gouges, cracked boots, etc.) may result in a $50 service fee or, in severe cases, full replacement costs.
  • Any gear lost or broken beyond repair will be charged at replacement value.

Security & Documentation

  • A valid Driver’s License and Credit Card are required at lease pickup.
  • Credit card will remain on file for security, tune fees, or damages if applicable.

Tuning Discounts

Seasonal lease customers enjoy:

  • 15% off in-season tunes.
  • Access to Seasonal Tuning Programs with weekly, biweekly, or monthly service options.
