Daily Ski Rental Questions

01 How much do ski rentals cost in Boulder?

At SkiBoulder an adult daily ski rental with skis, boots and poles is $64.95 a day, or from $49.99 for skis only. Junior packages are $45.99 a day (skis only from $30), park packages are $60.99 (skis only from $39.99), and demo skis are $79.99 a day. Multi-day rentals cost less per day: five days of adult rentals with skis, boots and poles is $259.99.

02 What is included in a daily ski rental?

A full daily package includes skis, boots and poles. Every rental comes with professional boot fitting, skis tuned before they go out, and bindings set for your weight, height and ability. If anything feels off after your first runs, bring it back the same day and we will adjust it for free.

03 Do I need a reservation to rent skis in Boulder?

No. Walk in during shop hours and we will fit you and get you out the door. You can also reserve online. On busy weekends, call (303) 443-0814 to check a specific size or model.

04 When can I pick up and return daily rental skis?

We are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Most skiers pick up the evening before their ski day so they can leave for the mountain first thing in the morning.

05 Can I rent just skis if I already own boots?

Yes. Adult, junior and park rentals all have a skis-only option, on new or used skis, at a lower daily price than the full setup. Bring your boots in and we will set the bindings to them.

06 Can I rent demo skis for a day?

Yes. Demo skis are $79.99 a day: current-season models from Atomic, Rossignol, Volkl, J Skis and others, with demo bindings adjusted to your boot. If you decide to buy, your demo fees are credited toward the purchase.

07 Do you rent kids skis by the day?

Yes. The junior daily package is $45.99 with skis, boots and poles, or from $30 for skis only. We size and fit kids in the shop and set their bindings for their weight.

08 Is a daily rental or a season lease cheaper?

It depends how often you ski. Even with our multi-day discount, four days of adult rentals ($220.99) still costs more than the $205 Economy season lease with skis, boots and poles. If you will ski four or more days this winter, look at our seasonal ski leases.

09 Can I rent skis for several days in a row?

Yes, and every extra day costs less. Day two is 10% off, day three 20%, day four 30% and day five 40%, so five days of adult rentals with skis, boots and poles is $259.99 instead of $324.75. Choose the number of days when you book. Pick up the evening before and bring everything back to the shop when you are done.

10 Why rent skis in Boulder instead of at the resort?

You get fitted by a full-service ski shop with no rental line on the mountain, and you drive straight to the lift. Our techs ski Eldora, Winter Park, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin, so ask us which ski suits the day.

11 Are rental skis tuned?

Yes. Every rental ski is tuned in our shop before it goes out, and the bindings are set and checked for the skier who is using them.

12 Do you rent ski helmets?

Yes. A ski helmet rental is $12 a day, with the same multi-day discount as our ski packages (five days is $47.99), or $50 for the whole season. We size it to your head at pickup.

13 Do you rent snowboards in Boulder?

Not yet. Snowboards are not in stock for the 2026/27 season. Call the shop at (303) 443-0814 and we will let you know as soon as they land.

14 Where is SkiBoulder?
