Demo Skis – Try Before You Buy at Alpine Base & Edge (Boulder, CO)

Pick a ski off the showroom floor and take it for a spin—for the day (for the whole winter, see the Demo Season Ski Lease). Every demo ski is freshly tuned in-house, ready for groomers, bowls, and tree lines. If you fall in love, your demo credit goes toward your purchase.

Renting for more than one day? Choose the number of days, up to five. Every extra day costs less: 10% off day two, 20% off day three, 30% off day four and 40% off day five. Quantity is the number of setups, not the number of days.

Rental Questions

01 Do I need to reserve a rental?

No. Walk in during shop hours and we will fit you and get you out the door, or reserve online here. On busy weekends, call (303) 443-0814 to check a size.

02 How does multi-day pricing work?

Choose the number of days, up to five. Every extra day costs less: 10% off day two, 20% off day three, 30% off day four and 40% off day five. Quantity is the number of setups (people), not the number of days.

03 Where do I pick up my rental?

In the shop at 3265 Walnut St, Boulder, CO 80301, where we fit it to you. We are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 12pm to 5pm.

04 Renting for more than five days?

A season lease usually costs less. See season ski leases or the season snowboard lease.

05 Do you rent helmets?

Yes. A helmet rental is $12 a day, with the same multi-day discount (five days is $47.99), or $50 for the whole season. We size it to your head at pickup.

06 What else do you rent?
