Snowboard rentals are picked up and fitted in store at 3265 Walnut St, Boulder. Open Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Pick up the evening before and drive straight to the mountain in the morning.

Snowboard Rental Questions

01 How much does it cost to rent a snowboard in Boulder?

At SkiBoulder an adult snowboard rental with board, bindings and boots is $54.99 a day, or $44.99 for board and bindings only. Every extra day costs less: five days is $219.99 for the full setup. A season snowboard lease is $249 for the full setup or $199 for board and bindings.

02 What snowboard gear do you rent?

Brand-new 2026/27 Rossignol rental gear. The EXP3 Rail board has an AutoTurn rocker profile, so it turns easily and doesn't catch edges. The Reply Rail bindings adjust without tools, and the EXP boots tighten with a BOA dial instead of laces.

03 What sizes do your rental snowboards come in?

Boards come in narrow, regular and wide versions from 135 to 165 cm. Wide boards are for bigger feet, so your toes and heels don't drag in a turn. We size the board to your height, weight and boot size in the shop.

04 Do I need a reservation to rent a snowboard?

No. Walk in during shop hours, or reserve online. On busy weekends, call (303) 443-0814 to check a board size.

05 When can I pick up and return a rental snowboard?

We are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. Pick up the evening before and drive straight to the mountain in the morning.

06 Is a daily snowboard rental or a season lease cheaper?

It depends how often you ride. Five days of rentals with the multi-day discount is $219.99 and the season lease is $249, so the lease costs less from the sixth day on. If you will ride six or more days this winter, take the season snowboard lease.

07 Can I rent just a board if I have my own boots?

Yes. Board and bindings is $44.99 a day or $199 for the season. Bring your boots in and we will set the bindings to them.

08 Do you rent helmets?

Yes. A helmet rental is $12 a day, with the same multi-day discount (five days is $47.99), or $50 for the whole season. We size it to your head at pickup.

09 Do you rent kids snowboards?

Not yet. The snowboard fleet is adult sizes, 135 to 165 cm. For kids, see our junior ski rentals.
