The vest uses POC’s VPD Air back protector, which warms with the body and becomes increasingly flexible as it is worn. Its honeycomb-inspired construction helps balance strength, protection, and low weight, while allowing the protector to move naturally with the skier.
A close-fitting mesh vest holds the protector securely in place without the need for a separate waistband. Extensive perforation throughout both the vest and protector promotes airflow and helps excess heat escape during active skiing and riding.

I really wanted this to work for me. 5 years ago I got a custom fitted devise (exactly the same idea as this product) from Kaiser Permanente and it definitely worked and was of very high quality plastic (unlike this one). The screws were metal inserts but three problem is that it would crack and I went through three of them in 5 years. Each cost $500! Not good. So when I saw.
